The staged modernization path

  1. Stabilize. Move the legacy Server Side Includes estate into repeatable Gulp builds compatible with the required cloud-delivery environment.
  2. Govern. Consolidate applications, tooling and shared libraries into an Nx monorepo.
  3. Modernize progressively. Introduce Next.js property by property while bounded legacy and modern applications continue side by side.
  4. Standardize delivery. Add repeatable builds, validation, visual regression, environment-specific releases and redirect controls.
  5. Unify measurement. Standardize Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, forms, lead delivery and cross-site reporting foundations.
